She loves her family, her cat, and the color pink, not necessarily in that order. Cassie also loves Quidditch and is a chaser for the Ravenclaw team this year. She likes to go out exploring to discover new things...she tries not to cause much trouble, but sometimes she can't help it! Someday she'll find her studious Ravenclaw side...but right now, not so much. family&friendsCassie is a halfblood and the oldest of three. She was born in Reading, England, and lives in a small village outside Reading during her school holidays. Her mother, Sophie, works in a Diagon Alley apothecary, while her father, Ian, teaches chemistry at a Muggle high school. She has two younger brothers, 10-year-old Elijah and six-year-old Luke. She has a black cat named Mischief, and a pink pygmy puff named Tibsy, which she received from her friend Ethan on her twelfth birthday. Cassie's extended family is quite large and quite close. She is closest to her cousin Lucy, who is a first year at Hogwarts. Cassie is usually very friendly and doesn't have problems with too many people. Her very best friend forever is her roommate Pimento Pepper, who, along with Ethan Tibble, make up a VERY DANGEROUS TRIO of Ravenclaw second years as well as a large portion of the Anti-Snogging Society. She is also becoming better friends with Ruth Ann Hunter, a fellow chaser on the Quidditch team. She's still a bit intimidated by the older kids on the team, but on the whole things they are quite brilliant, especially Derek Bly and Hannah Salix. academics&magicAfter a year and a half at Hogwarts, Cassie has clearly decided on her favorite (and best!) subjects. Potions and herbology are her favorites by far -- she picked up quite a bit from her mum in both. She can't wait to take Care of Magical Creatures next year. Cassie hates History of Magic and spends most of the class doodling cartoons into the margins of her notes. She also doesn't like astronomy very much. She definitely prefers hands on subjects to stuff that can be learned out of a book. After all, if you're in school to learn magic, you should be doing some, right? |
